J. D. Salinger sucks. There. I said it.
Bret Easton Ellis? Also sucks.
And I've come to this conclusion after only reading one of each of these authors' books.
Sue me.

Which Salinger did you read?
I can't judge. My mom and I have the Dickens fight every now and again and it just goes to show that there's no accounting for taste. Mom loves his writing, I find it BORING!
Besides "Great Expectations" I cannot deal with Dickens.
And the Salinger book I read was "The Catcher in the Rye." LORD how I hated that book!
