I swear, sometimes I just wish I could like your posts. This one gave me a good giggle.
I'm about four blocks from Eastern Parkway and avoided the shenanigans this year. Got to hear plenty of base, the overflow of the hooligans down Bedford, and the numerous neverending helicopters overhead. They were so close, there were times when my parents (with whom I was trying to videochat) couldn't even hear me.
